Tidying up

I like things to look a little wild in the garden. I feel this counteracts the formality of the raised garden beds, the paving between them and the picket fence surrounding it all.

So I let things grow.

I will tidy up eventually, probably at the end of Winter when nature starts putting its crazy on again.

I can still get in this gate, it is a tight fit and I wouldn’t want to eat too many cakes. But it gives me joy to look at it. All overgrown and colourful.

I have other pathways, I don’t need to use this one…

Completely unrelated but I like it. Not wild, this is a passion fruit vine and this photo looks like Summer even though it is quite crisp today.
